Projet Phantom – Quelques informations

Projet Phantom est une série audio en réflexion depuis 2018. Rejoignant l’initiative Wattybook, devenue plus tard Audiodidact… ce devait être une saga vitrine en compagnie de James Rico, Journal de Bord et bien d’autres projets de l’époque. Les versions de Projet Phantom ont varié, saisons en 12 épisodes, puis 6, puis 8 puis finalement 4… pas moyen de se décider… jusqu’à ce qu’une idée nous vienne.
Et si on utilisait ce projet pour expérimenter le format de nouvelle sonore ?

C’est une fiction sonore inspirée de la Fondation SCP. On y retrouve l’ambiance paranormale, secret défense, ajouté à du thriller, de l’action et plus encore. Je préfère néanmoins préciser que Projet Phantom a son propre lore et univers. Nous voulons nous démarquer de la Fondation SCP en prenant nos propres libertés. Vous découvrirez bientôt en quoi.

C’est comme ça que je me suis retrouvé à réfléchir un format très particulier… celui des Volumes audio. Des épisodes indépendants et souvent relativement auto-suffisant. Chaque épisode, ici, auront un format assez libre. Terminé l’époque où je voulais que les épisodes ne dépassent pas 50 minutes… force est d’admettre que ça me limitait beaucoup trop au vu de la complexité de cette saga mp3. Maintenant, 50 minutes devient un strict minimum… et j’entends bien expérimenter des volumes de 1h, 1h30… 2h, pourquoi pas plus un jour ? Le principe étant que le volume ne se termine que quand l’intrigue se termine. La durée dépendra finalement du temps nécessaire à résoudre l’affaire.

Je vous révèle alors le titre des trois premiers volumes, disponibles aussi sur la page du projet. Ces épisodes seront diffusés entre 2026 et 2028, je pense, mais ça restera à confirmer, ce que je ne manquerai pas de faire ces prochains mois.

À savoir que dans mes cartons, d’autres volumes sont prévus… 8, pour être exact. Et ces 8 Volumes forment un arc, un premier arc dans cette série dont vous découvrirez les thèmes et les enjeux au fur et à mesure que les épisodes seront postés sur le site… et sur YouTube.
